Found in the Hautes-Alpes region, Les Orres is an idyllic location for a winter break. Rising above the Serre-Ponçon lake, with the Ecrins National Park to one side, and coniferous larch forests all around, Les Orres offers a truly pretty destination.
The resort is north-west facing, meaning snow quality is really very good. As well as fantastic skiing, well-loved by sporty skiers as well as families and beginners, Les Orres pays particular attention to non-skiing activities and sustainability. The resort also offers free WiFi throughout the town (over 120 hotspots), and they even have their own app, so you can find info on shops, restaurants and activities with ease. Plus track your runs, waiting time at lifts and have a peek into what's going on on the webcams all using the app, called simply 'Les Orres'.
