There are plenty of activities to enjoy on and off the mountains, and the wider ski area offers both advanced and beginner skiers the chance to explore a huge range of pistes. The Vaujany / Oz ski area has 33 km of groomed slopes, made up of seven green, 11 blue, nine red and three black runs ideal for everyone. There is plenty to keep families, couples and groups entertained on a visit to Vaujany, although the main attraction of the resort is its quiet tranquillity. Here visitors can enjoy the stunning mountains and access to a huge ski domain, with a peaceful end to the day in one of the town’s restaurants. For days when the conditions are bad there’s a cinema, as well as an ice rink, or you could even try your hand at curling. Families will enjoy wrapping up warm for a day of dog sledding, while there is also a snowmaking plant tour in the larger Alpe d’Huez area.
