Welcome to an outstanding holiday with Madame Vacances at our Residence Horizon Bleu in the uplands of the French Riviera. The town of Théoule-sur-Mer sits on the edge of the Mediterranean, and at the foot of the Esterel mountains.
One of the most beautiful towns of the Cote d'Azur, it's also only a dozen kilometres distance from Cannes, so you can enjoy plenty of activities, without being too close to the glitz and glamour of Cannes! The residence also offers an amazing view over the mountains and the sea.
The apartments of Horizon Bleu offer a spacious, clean and comfortable base for your holiday. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Estérel mountains or over the Cannes bay, depending on your apartment, from the comfort of your private balcony or terrace.
Apartments come with towels and linen, air conditioning, a plasma screen TV, WiFi access and access to the outdoor communal swimming pool. The apartments range from 18-33m² and offer a sitting/dining room and a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee machine, electric stove and dishwasher.
The apartments at Horizon Bleu are all self-catered, with their own fully-equipped kitchens. There is a Spar and a Petit Casino in Théoule-sur-Mer itself, allowing guests to stock up and cook their own meals at their ease.
The town of Théoule-sur-Mer sits on the French Riviera, just three stops (around 12 minutes) from Cannes on the St Raphael Train. Situated on such a brilliantly beautiful coastline, Théoule-sur-Mer has plenty to boast about, from fabulous beaches, to a bustling marina.
There's a huge range of cafés, restaurants and bars in Théoule-sur-Mer, as well as a number of charming walking routes, and no less than five beaches to choose from. The coastal path that leaves Théoule-sur-Mer and heads to Mandalieu-la-Napoule is a lovely afternoon excursion, as it passes the castle, rocky sections with lovely views to Cannes, and a couple of secluded coves that just beg to be swum in.
Nearby to the popular Cannes resort, Théoule-sur-Mer is never short of things to do. There's a huge range of golf courses nearby, the closest in Mandelieu and St Raphael Cedex.
For a slow meander, the Parc du Chateau de la Napoule is a lovely garden to explore, with sculptures and ponds to admire.
Water sports are also a big hit, including water aerobics sessions on the beach, Jet Ski, snorkelling with music, boat rental, submarine excursions, boat hire and even aquaphobia classes!
The Théoule-sur-Mer markets are a must-see here, even if you're not a self-proclaimed foodie! There's a big range:
Thursday and Sunday AM: Figueirette Port
Friday AM: Centre of Théoule-sur-Mer
Wednesday PM (6-8pm): Farmers Market at Esplanade Charles de Gaulle
Pierre Cardin, the Italian-born French designer is Théoule-sur-Mer's resident celebrity and eccentric. His astounding 'Bubble Palace' is a sight to behold, and although it's private, he does throw an outlandish music festival in his gardens in the summer, which the public can attend.
